At the heart of our brand is the conviction that every child should have the ability to freely explore the wonderful outdoors without being restricted by the clothes they’re dressed in. We specialise in creating premium outerwear for children with carefully considered design, highest quality fabrics and an
engineered fit. Our ethos is to create sustainable, weatherproof clothing for children that is wearable any season.

Drawing on over 15 years in the fashion industry, our primary consideration is how a child feels when they are wearing our products.

Töastie creates premium Eco outerwear for children with beautiful designs centred around a core ethos of sustainability. Töastie’s outerwear offers ultimate comfort and wearability enabling tiny explorers to discover the outdoors unhindered.

Töastie was founded on the ethos of creating something far more important than another children’s fashion label, we are creating a lifestyle that enables children to be children, thriving from the richness of the natural world around them. Whilst our purpose is to create clothing for children to seek out adventure without restrictions, our mission runs far deeper. Wherever we can we will opt for sustainable and ethical production routes, incorporate recycled and environmentally friendly materials into our designs and cut out the need for excess packaging.

We are deeply committed to building a brand with sustainability at its heart. We hope to educate and inspire the next generation to understand the overwhelming importance of adhering to these standards.

RECYCLABLE PACKAGING COMMITMENT TO U.N SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS 3
 
Töastie is focused in our commitment to UN Sustainable Development Goal 3: ensure healthy lives and promote wellbeing for all at all ages. We recognise the importance of getting children excited, involved and engaged with nature both for their mental health and wellbeing and also to nurture the desire to cherish and protect our natural world. As a result, we have launched ‘Tiny Corners’, an initiative promoting the idea that anyone of any age can look after a tiny corner of nature in their own home. Every order comes with a lollipop, and the biodegradable stick is filled with seeds for planting. Customers also have the opportunity to purchase a second lollipop to donate to children in underprivileged areas, to bring a 'Tiny Corner' of nature into their lives. 
 
RECYCLABLE PACKAGING 
 
Töastie now use 100% FSC-certified packing and 100% recycled and 100% recyclable garment bags.
We also encourage customers to give their packaging a second life: our boxes are lined with a drawing for children to colour in. The drawing is also a guide to foraging, with plants for children to look out for on their adventures, encouraging them to care for the environment around them.
 
RESPONSIBLE SOURCING AND CONSCIOUS DESIGN
 
Töastie is striving towards increased traceability of all materials within our supply chain. We also ensure all of our suppliers sign our code of conduct, we never use any PVCs or VOCs and we have committed to using only recycled down in own collections from 2021.
When designing garments, at Töastie we take extra effort to make the majority of items all-season appropriate and make design adjustments such as longer sleeves and elasticated hoods and waists giving room for growth and minimising the chance of waste. We have also recently innovated the raincoat, launching a design that uses 100% recycled plastic bottles for its shell.
 
COMMUNITY INVESTMENT
 
For Töastie, activating purpose means making community investment and giving back to wider society an essential part of their business. The brand is a member of the non-profit organisation, 1% for the Planet. Their membership means that they commit to giving 1% of our revenue to non-profit partners dedicated to environmental causes.
