Töastie was founded on the ethos of creating something far more important than another children’s fashion label, we are creating a lifestyle that enables children to be children, thriving from the richness of the natural world around them.

Whilst our purpose is to create clothing for children to seek out adventure without restrictions, our mission runs far deeper. Wherever we can we will opt for sustainable and ethical production routes, incorporate recycled and environmentally friendly materials into our designs and cut out the need for excess packaging.

We are deeply committed to building a brand with sustainability at its heart. We want to educate and inspire the next generation to understand the overwhelming importance of adhering to these standards.

RESPONSIBLY SOURCED DOWN

Töastie is committed to the responsible use of real down products and guarantee the down we use is fully traceable. We adhere to strict implemented traceability programs to ensure the down is fully traceable throughout the supply chain.  

We are wholly against the practice of live plucking and force-feeding of birds. The down used in Töastie products has been certified as a by-product of the poultry industry, with full traceability from farm to final product.    

THERMO-REGULATING PROPERTIES OF REAL DOWN

It is no secret that nature knows best and the properties found within natural down are a true reflection of this. The structure of the down provides warmth by creating thousand of tiny air pockets from the interlocking fibres, whilst also allowing unwanted moisture to escape from being trapped. Real down provides three times the insulation of synthetic down and is the most lightweight option, above and beyond any man-made fibres, on the market at present.  Down retains its loft and shape, ensuring our jackets are as light and puffy to the eye as they are to the touch.  We are passionate about the source of our down and only use Responsibly Sourced Down in our outerwear.
