Every now and then, we come across people doing something that just resonates with what we care about.

"We exist to honour the land we live on, the mother who inspired it, and the families who now gather beneath its branches.

Here, calm and connection come first."

~ Amelia and Brett Johnson, Mama Tree Farms

That’s how we found Amelia and Brett Johnson - the pair behind Mama Tree Farms, a family-run space on the New South Wales Central Coast in Australia. Their farm is built around a simple idea: helping children and families connect with nature, slow down a little, and enjoy being outdoors together.

When we saw the images their friend Sarah Fraser took of them on the farm - wearing a few of our TÖASTIE outerwear pieces, including our Weatherproof Robes - we were genuinely moved. The photos are easy and honest: a chilly morning, muddy boots, kids exploring, layers pulled tight against the wind. No styling, no gloss - just real life on the land.

Even though we’re based here in England, we saw so much of ourselves in what Amelia and Brett are creating. Their approach to community, sustainability and slowing things down sits right alongside what we believe in at TÖASTIE: helping families feel comfortable, connected and confident to get outside, wherever they are.

We’re excited to share some of Sarah’s beautiful photography and to introduce more people to what Mama Tree Farms is all about - a reminder that no matter where you live, there’s always joy to be found in stepping outside and making space for the good stuff.
