Feel the crunch of the salt, soak in the delightful aromas, and enjoy a relaxing, hands-on activity together. Perfect for a little “me-time” and “we-time”! 🌿🤍
🛁 2 cups of Epsom Salts
🛁 1 cup of Himalayan Pink Salt
🛁 Half a cup of dried Lavender
🛁 1 cup of Coconut oil (heated to liquid form)
🛁 10 drops of Lavender essential oil
🛁 10 drops of Geranium essential oil
🛁 Fresh Rosemary sprig steeped in water for 5-10 mins (optional for 6+ years - add water directly into bath once run).
Method:
Pour the Epsom and Himalayan Pink salts into a bowl.
Pour in the dried Lavender.
Drop the Lavender and Geranium essential oils into the heated Coconut or Almond oil. (dilution is crucial).
Combine with the salts and stir well. Spoon into a jam jar or similar.
Run a warm bath and add 2 heaped spoon-fulls of the natural bath salts, add more as desired.
Relax and enjoy with your little explorer.
You may want to replace the Epsom salts with Sea salt and Bicarbonate of Soda if they are more easily available.
You may also choose to use Almond, Jojoba or Olive oil instead of Coconut as your carrier oil.
There are plenty of other options regarding essential oils.
Beneficial oils for relieving cold and flu symptoms are Eucalyptus and Mint. Tea-Tree, Camomile, Frankincense and Cedar-wood are also good options but please check age guidelines online, as some oils can be too strong for your little people, especially in large quantities.
