Create | Easter Bunny Ears

Homegrown, garden-picked, and wrapped in repurposed wool.

All you need is…

🐰Willow Branches (1 x long for the headband and 4 x short for the bunny ears). Other branches will be fine as long as they are bendy!

🐰Flowers, either picked fresh from your garden or silk/dried flowers from an old headband or flower arrangement if you want it to last a little longer.

🐰Wool/cotton wool/felt/fabric for the ears.
We used sheep’s wool packaging from a food delivery box which is often used instead of bubble wrap.

🐰A small piece of cardboard for the crown.

🐰A glue gun.

💐Remove the leaves from your willow branch.
💐Bend into an oval shape and tie with string at the ends (fit to the size of your child’s head).
💐Cut x 4 smaller pieces for the ears and tie ends together to create bunny-ear shapes.
💐Cut a semi circle shape from cardboard.
💐Glue the card shape to the front of the headband to make the crown.
💐Glue the ears to the crown.
💐Cover the crown and ears in fur/sheep’s wool/cotton wool/hessian/fabric.
💐Glue and slide flower/herb stems into wool and position as desired.
💐Your Easter Headband is ready to wear!
💐Enjoy hopping around the garden and collecting eggs in your Easter basket!
